The DataModel (Metadata) layer can dynamically and intelligently adjust to application databases, as well as, morph to inherit security conditions. It can include dynamic conditions, business rules, hierarchies, virtual tables and calculation fields.
In simple terms, the complexity of the local application database is abstracted from the user whilst still providing the power and flexibility of rapid query access. The user does not need development skills or need to rely on consultants to develop their own reports.
